Post-Publication Discussion, Complaints and Appeals

Review of Management, Accounting, and Business Studies (REVENUE) welcomes constructive scholarly discussion of its published articles as part of the academic process.

1. Comments and Responses on Published Articles

  • Letter to the Editor / Commentary: Readers may submit a short written response (maximum 1,500 words) to a published article through the contact page or by email at journal.revenue@undiknas.ac.id. The letter must refer to the specific article (title and DOI), be scholarly in tone, and be supported by arguments and references.
  • Review process: Letters are assessed by the editors and, where necessary, by reviewers. If accepted, the authors of the original article are invited to reply, and both texts may be published together in a subsequent issue.

Comments that are defamatory, personal, or irrelevant to the content of the article will not be considered.

2. Reporting Errors

Readers who find errors in a published article are encouraged to notify the editorial office. Such reports are handled under the Correction and Retraction Policy.

3. Complaints

Complaints regarding the editorial process, decisions, or conduct of the journal may be sent to the Editor-in-Chief at journal.revenue@undiknas.ac.id, clearly describing the issue and including the relevant submission ID or article details. The editorial office will acknowledge the complaint within 7 working days and aim to respond within 30 days. Complaints concerning the Editor-in-Chief will be handled by the Managing Editor.

4. Appeals Against Editorial Decisions

Authors who believe their manuscript was rejected because of a factual error or misunderstanding may submit one appeal per manuscript within 30 days of the decision. The appeal must provide a detailed, point-by-point response to the reviewers' and editors' comments. Appeals are assessed by an editor who was not involved in the original decision and who may consult additional reviewers. The outcome of the appeal is final, and the manuscript must not be submitted elsewhere while the appeal is under consideration.
