THE ROLE OF INTEGRATED SERVICE CENTERS FOR EMPOWERING WOMEN AND CHILDREN IN DENPASAR IN PROVIDING LEGAL PROTECTION TO CHILDREN AS VICTIMS OF SEXUAL VIOLENCE

Sexual violence is a form of sexual contact or other form that is not sexually desirable. Sexual violence is usually accompanied by psychological or physical pressure experienced by the victim. The establishment of P2TP2A as a government agency specifically as a place to help children and women who experience social problems, especially regarding human rights violations or sexual violence. The purpose of this paper is to find out the factors that cause sexual violence against children and the role of P2TP2A in providing legal protection for children. The method in this paper uses empirical legal research methods and uses primary data types and secondary data, primary data that is data sourced directly from the first source while secondary data in the form of books, journals, data collection techniques by means of interviews and documentation, data analysis techniques the technique used is descriptive qualitative analysis. There are two factors that cause sexual violence against children, internal factors and external factors. Internal factors the most influential factors are family factors and external factors the most influential factors are social media factors. P2TP2A’s role in providing legal protection to children as victims of sexual violence is to receive complaints from victims and accompany victims to trial and provide safe houses for victims and provide psychological counseling for victims mentality.
