Peer Review Process
Jurnal Ilmiah Telsinas Elektro, Sipil dan Teknik Informasi has a publishing frequency of 2 times a year, in the periods of April and September. All articles published undergo a peer review process carried out by the Board of Editors and Reviewers, both internal and external.
The Peer-Review Process in this journal begins with ensuring that the articles meet the Author Guidelines or article writing guidelines and journal template requirements. The Board of Editors, both internally and externally, is responsible for checking that the articles being reviewed meet the required standards. Editors with relevant experience carefully review and ensure that the articles comply with the Author Guidelines and Journal Templates.
The next stage involves the editor providing feedback by filling out the assessment form or adding notes. If the article does not meet the Author Guidelines or Journal Templates, the editorial team will return the article to the author for revision based on the review results.
In the review process, the Editorial Team also performs a similarity check using Turnitin. Articles that have met the editorial review requirements proceed to the review process by the reviewers. The editor sends the articles electronically to both internal and external reviewers for evaluation.
The peer review process, carried out by internal and external reviewers, focuses on evaluating the substance of the article, providing constructive comments, and offering feedback related to the state of the art and other relevant components of the work. The review process is conducted using a double blind review method. The ethical review process ensures that feedback is objective and well-supported by clear arguments. Criticism of the author's personality is considered unethical and inappropriate during the review process.
Reviewers are tasked with thoroughly identifying the relevance of legal documents, concepts, theories, and results from previous studies used by the author. Additionally, reviewers are responsible for identifying any relevant literature or research findings that the author may have overlooked.
The entire review process is conducted electronically. Once the peer review process is complete, the Journal Editor decides which articles are worthy of publication, based on the initial review by the editorial team, the validity of the articles assessed by the reviewers, and the overall contribution and impact of the article’s content.
Articles published are the results of original studies and research in the field of engineering that have never been published.
