Author Guidelines for Nata Palemahan: Journal of Environmental Engineering Innovations

1. General Guidelines

  • Manuscripts should be typed in Cambria, 10 pt, single-spaced, on A4 paper with margins set at 2 cm (top, left, right) and 2.5 cm (bottom).
  • The maximum length is 12 pages, including references and appendices.
  • All pages must be numbered consecutively, including the reference list.

2. Manuscript Structure

Title and Author Information

  • Title: Cambria, 14 pt, Bold, Left-Aligned.
  • Authors: List all authors with affiliations, including city and country.
  • Corresponding Author: Indicate the corresponding author with an email address.

Article Information

  • Abstract: Each article must include an abstract in both Indonesian and English, consisting of 150-200 words. The abstract should provide a concise overview of the research problem, method, results, and importance of findings. Use Cambria, 9 pt, single-spaced.
  • Keywords: Include 3-5 keywords that reflect the core content of the article.

3. Main Sections

Introduction

  • The introduction should provide the background, literature review, scientific novelty, research problem, and objectives. The text should be Cambria, 10 pt, single-spaced, with spacing set to 1.15 before and after.

Methodology

  • Describe the research approach, design, scope, materials and instruments (if applicable), data collection techniques, and analysis methods. This section should not include flowcharts.

Results and Discussion

  • Present the research findings and interpretations, referencing relevant sources and comparing them with previous studies. Figures and tables should be embedded in the text after being referenced.

Conclusion

  • Conclusions should address the research question or hypothesis, highlighting scientific findings. Include suggestions for future research. Do not use bullet points or subheadings in this section.

4. Formatting of Tables, Figures, and Equations

Tables

  • Place tables within the text, numbered consecutively with Arabic numerals. Table captions should appear above the table, left-aligned. Only horizontal lines should be used, and font size may be adjusted for large tables.

Figures

  • Ensure high-resolution images for all figures. Number figures consecutively and caption them below the image. All figures should be cited in the main text.

Equations

  • Equations should be formatted using a mathematical editor and numbered consecutively in Arabic numerals, right-aligned. Decimal numbers should use a comma (e.g., 0,234).

5. References

  • Include a minimum of 15 references primarily from recent journals and proceedings. References should be formatted in IEEE style and managed through Mendeley for consistency.
  • The reference list should be numbered in the order they appear in the text.
