Scope of Contributions
TOURBIS Journal of Tourism and Business invites submissions that explore a comprehensive range of topics within tourism and business, encouraging both theoretical advancements and empirical studies. Our scope includes, but is not limited to:
- Tourism Management: This encompasses sustainable tourism practices, effective destination management strategies, innovative tourism marketing, efficient hospitality operations, robust tourism policy and planning frameworks, the burgeoning MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) sector, responsible ecotourism, enriching cultural tourism experiences, the transformative impact of digital tourism, and forward-thinking tourism innovation.
- Business Studies: We welcome research on entrepreneurship within the tourism industry, the vital role of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in tourism, strategic human resource management in hospitality, sound financial management practices for tourism businesses, optimized supply chain management, enhancing service quality, understanding consumer behavior in tourism, ethical considerations in business, and the imperative of corporate social responsibility within the tourism landscape.
- Interdisciplinary Approaches: We particularly encourage studies that bridge disciplines, examining the multifaceted social, economic, cultural, environmental, and technological impacts on both tourism and business. This also includes analyses of evolving trends and visionary future outlooks that will shape these sectors.

TOURBIS Journal actively solicits scholarly contributions from a diverse global community of academics, researchers, practitioners, and policymakers. We particularly encourage submissions from:
