The TOURBIS: Journal of Tourism and Business is focusing on advancing knowledge within the interconnected fields of tourism and business, with a strong emphasis on both theoretical developments and empirical research.

Specifically, the journal seeks contributions that cover:

  • Comprehensive Tourism Management: This includes various facets of tourism operations, planning, policy, marketing, sustainability, and specialized segments like MICE, ecotourism, cultural tourism, and digital tourism.
  • Diverse Business Studies within the Tourism Context: This encompasses research on entrepreneurship, SMEs, human resource management, financial management, supply chain management, service quality, consumer behavior, ethics, and corporate social responsibility, all as they relate to the tourism industry.
  • Interdisciplinary Investigations: The journal particularly encourages research that explores the complex interactions between tourism and business with broader societal dimensions, including social, economic, cultural, environmental, and technological impacts, as well as emerging trends and future outlooks for these sectors.
