Submission guidelines

Step 1: Submission Process via OJS 3

  1. Register an Account on OJS

    • Visit the Open Journal Systems (OJS) page at TechnopreneurBiz Journal.
    • If you do not have an account, click Register at the top of the page to create a new account.
    • Complete the registration form with valid details. You will receive a confirmation email to activate your account.
  2. Log In to OJS

    • After registering, log in using your username and password.
  3. Go to the Submission Page

    • Once logged in, select Author from the user panel. Under the Author menu, choose Submissions.
    • Click Start a New Submission to begin submitting your article.
  4. Fill Out the Metadata for Submission

    • Section: Choose the type of article (Research Article, Review, etc.).
    • Title: Enter the article title following the provided guidelines.
    • Abstract: Write the abstract as per the guidelines (200-250 words).
    • Keywords: Provide 3-5 keywords, separated by commas.
    • File: Upload your manuscript in .docx or .pdf format. Ensure that it is properly formatted according to the submission guidelines.
  5. Review and Confirm the Submission

    • After entering the necessary information, double-check the article and metadata.
    • Click Finish Submission to complete the process.
    • Your article will now be in the system and await further processing.
  6. Peer Review Process

    • The article will undergo a peer review process by the journal’s editors and reviewers.
    • You will be notified via email if your article is accepted or if revisions are needed.
  7. Revision and Resubmission

    • If revisions are required, make the necessary changes based on reviewer comments and resubmit the updated article.
    • After resubmission, the article will be re-evaluated for acceptance.
  8. Acceptance and Publication

    • After acceptance, your article will be processed for publication in the next available issue.
    • You will receive notification once your article is published and accessible as open access.

Step 2: Manuscript Formatting Requirements

  1. General Requirements:

    • Article Type: Articles should be original research or comprehensive review articles. These can be written in English or Indonesian.
    • Page Limit: Articles should be between 10 to 12 pages, including references.
    • Language: Manuscripts should be written in formal academic language with clear and concise expression.
  2. Structure of the Manuscript:

    • Title: The title should be in Times New Roman, size 16, bold, and no more than 15 words. It should clearly reflect the content of the manuscript.
    • Authors and Affiliations: List all authors and their institutional affiliations. The first name should be abbreviated, and the surname should not. The corresponding author should be marked with a superscript.
    • Abstract: The abstract should be 200-250 words, written in past tense, and should summarize the problem, approach, results, and conclusions without references.
    • Keywords: Provide 3-5 keywords separated by commas, which will help indexing services.
  3. Sections in the Article:

    • Introduction: The introduction should set the stage with background information, theoretical foundations, problem statement, research objectives, and plans for solving the problem. Use Times New Roman, size 10, with 1.0 spacing.
    • Methods: Describe the research methods, data collection techniques, sources, and data analysis methods clearly.
    • Results and Discussion: Present the results without data analysis and hypothesis testing. Discuss the results by interpreting the findings, integrating them into existing knowledge, and potentially creating or modifying theories.
    • Conclusion: Provide a clear summary of the conclusions and practical recommendations derived from the research.
    • Acknowledgments: Mention any funding sources, contributions from individuals, or institutions that helped in the research.
    • References: Follow APA 7th edition for citations and references. Include at least 20 references, preferably from recent publications (within 5 years).
  4. Formatting Instructions:

    • Font and Size: Use Times New Roman, size 12 for the text and size 10 for the references.
    • Margins: Set 2.5 cm for all margins (top, bottom, left, right).
    • Page Size: A4 (8.27 x 11.69 inches).
    • Spacing: Single line spacing (1.0), with a space of 1 cm between paragraphs.
  5. Tables and Figures:

    • Tables: Tables should be created with a line width of 1 pt, with the caption placed above the table. Use horizontal lines only, no vertical lines.
    • Figures: Figures should be inserted as text boxes, with the caption placed below. The caption must be numbered and referred to in the text.
