Abstract

This research aims to find out how Generation Z reduces work stress through social interaction at New Moon Cafe Kedonganan, Badung. The phenomenology used is experience and feelings. The type of data used is qualitative, the data sources used are primary and secondary, generation z research informants as well as observation, interview and documentation data collection techniques and using the validity checking technique of source triangulation, technical triangulation and time triangulation. From the research results, the stress experienced by Generation Z workers who work at New Moon Cafe are several factors, namely working beyond the specified job desk, pressure in carrying out the responsibilities that have been given, and work that is piling up with short deadlines. The above can lead to various violations committed by employees at New Moon Café, such as procrastinating work, working not in accordance with applicable procedures and resulting in feelings of anxiety which make it difficult to concentrate which impacts the services provided by employees, but employees in New Moon Cafe has its own way of reducing stress at work, namely by interacting with employees through playing games, communicating by sharing with other employees, completing work outside the café area, or in places that are considered comfortable, and utilizing holiday from work to rest.
