The main problems faced by the craftsmen include limited generational regeneration, dependence on middlemen, weak product branding, and low utilization of digital technology in marketing. The program was implemented through preparation, training, and hands-on mentoring stages, focusing on knowledge transfer of traditional wuwung craftsmanship from senior artisans to younger participants and practical training in digital marketing using social media and online marketplaces. A participatory and practice-based approach was applied to ensure direct implementation of acquired skills. The results indicate an improvement in participants’ knowledge and skills in both wuwung production and digital promotion. Participants successfully created business social media accounts and began uploading promotional content for their products. This program contributes to preserving local cultural heritage while enhancing the economic independence of craftsmen through technology-based capacity building. Sustainable impact requires continuous mentoring and strengthened marketing networks.
Djaelani Susanto Subarjo Subarjo Busthanul Arifin Copyright (c) 2026 Djaelani Susanto, Subarjo, Busthanul Arifin https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2026-06-30 2026-06-30 7 1 1 7 10.38043/parta.v7i1.7031 Penerapan Teknologi RO Drip Irrigation dan Nutrisi Presisi untuk Peningkatan Produktivitas Jagung Hibrida https://journal.undiknas.ac.id/index.php/parta/article/view/7036
Agriculture is a strategic sector in Bantaeng Regency, particularly in the development of hybrid maize. The productivity of maize in the Naik Daun Farmer Group remains low, averaging 0.16 kg per plant, compared to the optimal potential of 0.25–0.33 kg per plant. The main challenges include limited crop management, dependence on rainfall, and conventional fertilization practices. This community service activity aimed to enhance farmers’ capacity through the application of Reverse Osmosis (RO) Drip Irrigation and precision nutrition, using methods such as extension services, field practice mentoring, irrigation system installation, and evaluation of technology adoption. The results showed a significant improvement in farmers’ knowledge and skills; the number of farmers with good understanding increased from 7 (54%) to 13 (100%). Maize productivity increased to 0.28–0.30 kg per plant, approaching the optimal potential, and 88% of farmers were able to implement crop management independently. Thus, the application of RO drip irrigation and precision nutrition has proven effective in improving both productivity and farmer independence, and has the potential to be adapted to other agricultural commodities.
Napsawati Napsawati Agussalim Agussalim Asri B Copyright (c) 2026 Napsawati, Agussalim, Asri B https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2026-06-30 2026-06-30 7 1 8 15 10.38043/parta.v7i1.7036
